Chainlink (LINK), the decentralized oracle network, stands out among ERC-20 projects for its recent surge in development activity, as per new data from Santiment, a leading crypto analytics platform.
According to Santiment, Chainlink recorded 560.6 significant GitHub events over the last 30 days, leading the pack. Following closely, Status (SNT) logged 385.97 events. Status aims to provide users with a secure messaging app, crypto wallet, and web3 browser through an open-source, peer-to-peer protocol with end-to-end encryption.
Ethereum (ETH) ranked third in Santiment’s analysis with 314 notable events.
Santiment employs a refined methodology that excludes routine updates, focusing instead on substantial developments, underscoring its credibility in data collection.
Santiment has previously emphasized that robust development activity reflects confidence among developers in the project’s protocol, reducing the likelihood of exit scams.
As of the latest update, LINK is trading at $14.04, experiencing a slight decrease of over 2% in the past 24 hours. SNT is trading at $0.0264, showing a decline of more than 1% in the same period, while ETH is priced at $3,385, down by more than 2% in the past day.
