These whales are identified as addresses that possess a minimum of 1,000 Bitcoin, with the average age of the coins being less than 155 days. On the other hand, “old” whales are those who hold at least 1,000 Bitcoin for a longer duration, with an average coin age of 155 days or more. It is important to note that Young Ju does not consider addresses belonging to miners or centralized exchanges when categorizing both types of whales.
