Tron Founder Justin Sun Amasses More Than $559 Million in Ethereum (ETH) Amid Crypto Market Correction: Lookonchain
New findings from Lookonchain, a blockchain-tracking service, have unveiled that Justin Sun, the creator of Tron (TRX), has been acquiring hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Ethereum (ETH) amidst the cryptocurrency market’s correction. Lookonchain recently reported on the social media platform X that since April 8th, Sun has accumulated a total of 176,117 ETH valued at $559.7 million, with an average price of approximately $3,170 per token. In addition, Lookonchain observed a wallet address that may be associated with Sun withdrawing thousands of ETH from the crypto exchange Binance. The address, known as “0x4359,” withdrew $22.34 million worth of ETH and had purchased $492.23 million worth of ETH since April 8th. Lookonchain also noted that another address potentially linked to Sun withdrew $96 million worth of Tether (USDT) and $23.3 million worth of ETH from Binance on April 27th. Ethereum is currently trading at $3,204, representing a 3.4% decrease in the last 24 hours. In February, Sun disclosed that he holds 28,613 Bitcoin (BTC) worth over $1.622 billion on the crypto exchange HTX, formerly known as Huobi, in response to critics questioning his activity on the platform he helped rebrand.
